We are excited to invite you to join us at the 2026 Acclaim Awards & Fundraising Reception on Thursday, March 5th at 6pm at The Broadside in New Orleans. Enjoy beverages and light bites as we celebrate those that have championed the LGBTQ+ community and made us a better Louisiana.
2026 Acclaim Awards Honorees
SarahJane Brady Guidry
SarahJane’s 14 years of leadership as full-time Executive Director of Forum for Equality were instrumental in advancing the rights of the LGBTQ+ community across Louisiana. Through her steadfast advocacy, strategic vision, and unwavering commitment to equality, she helped shape meaningful progress for our community. She continues this vital work as Policy & Advocacy Director for CrescentCare. It is only fitting that we formally recognize and celebrate the lasting impact her leadership and advocacy have had on our community.
New Orleans Pride Center
After several years without a dedicated LGBTQ+ community space in New Orleans, the Pride Center has filled a profound need. More than just a physical location, it is an inclusive hub where all can “be safe, be seen, be celebrated.” We formally recognize and honor the New Orleans Pride Center for its resilience, vision, and the indispensable role it plays in uplifting, celebrating, and supporting LGBTQ+ lives throughout our region.
With the upcoming Legislative Session beginning on March 9th, we need our supporters more now than ever as we anticipate more anti-LGBTQ+ legislation. We are standing firm against the challenges we face and are ready to continue to fight for equality and justice for all LGBTQ+ Louisianans. RSVP now and spread the word to your friends.
