Editorial Forum

The overall aim of the Editorial Forum is to provide a widely accessible and informative media for the exchange of ideas, experiences, issues, speeches, and opinions regarding LGBT rights and welfare. Susan Finch, a former staff writer for a mayor newspaper in Louisiana is our Editor-in-Chief.  Before on-line publishing, contributions to the Editorial Forum are evaluated by a committee to determine both originality and relevance to the mission of the Forum For Equality.  We encourage you to contribute to our Editorial Forum.  Read contributions to our Editorial Forum here

Editorial Guidelines:

  • Contributions should be made in the English language;

  • Contributions shall be published on a voluntary or pro-bono basis;

  • Special contributions may be occasionally commissioned by the Editor-In-Chief and/or the Editorial Committee;

  • The contributions should be incisive, informative and original;

  • Acknowledgement of the work of others is encouraged to avoid plagiarism;

  • Contributions will be published with the authors’ consent and their acceptance of liability for content and implications of their opinions;

  • Authors’ names, and other identifiers may be inserted for the purpose of identifying the contributor;

  • The Editor-In-Chief shall reserve the right to decline to publish articles that are inconsistent with the above guidelines.
